wondering if anyone out there knows if it would be possible to register an older pistol that has not been registered for a long time if ever , would this be possible ? if so how would you go about it if you came across one ?

if I knew where one was it would most likely be a 38 S&W service revolver about a 6 inch barrel![]()
They may add it to the future confiscation list...er...I mean the registry.
But there is an equal chance it will be confiscated right away if you call them. Think hard before doing anything.Addition: You asked how to do this. Just call the magic phone number and the government employee on the other end will tell you what they will do for you. Or to you.
There are many reports of folks registered such pistols
I do not recall ever seeing a report here that the pistol was seized.
That would suggest that there isn't an equal chance of seizure.
