With all the vague rules and interpretations out there I hope this is not a dumb question.
I plan on purchasing a SIG 226 in .22 version. Intend to get the 9mm conversion kit as well.
The gun would be a .22 when purchased and registered as such.
Any special rules or paperwork when I get the 9mm kit for it in terms of registration, transport, etc that I should be aware of?
Would the ATT have to specify the caliber being used when in transport or anything of that nature?
All new to this so I don't want any surprises if something happens.
Any insight and advice would be great!

Ok so ATT is just a generalization transportation of a firearm. Whether you take 1,2 or a dozen to the range? That makes it a bit simpler. Haven't seen one yet so glad that I asked. Thanks Robert!

ATT ( Authorization to transport ) just a piece of paper saying you can transport a restricted firearm to and from range between this time. With a list of the registration card numbers of the guns you own. That corresponds to the cards you should have for each firearms.

Seriously? Your ATTs state a list of firearms that may be transported? That SUCKS!

That would mean every time you buy or sell one you need to have your ATT adjusted?

Not really. I buy a new restricted firearm they send me a new ATT that's current with the new restricted I purchased automatically, Sell one I just leave it.
