rehashing wolf import

Couldn't have said it better. Why do people want to chance their lives on this crappy WOLF ammo?

CRAP AMMO, what ever the price, throw it in the garbage where it belongs.

"Chance their lives"? Hitting the hyberbole a little hard, aren't we?

As for the idea that it's crap, I see hundreds of online users claiming to use Wolf ammo in the U.S. without problems. Bushmaster states that it is perfectly fine for use in their rifles. I see complaints about Olympic brand (Greek) and Guatemalan surplus, but the only problem most people have with Wolf is it's loaded a bit light. I wouldn't hesitate to try it.

Whether or not it ends up being any cheaper than Chinese brass-cased ammo, is another question altogether.

I'd trust Wolf over most of the surplus ammo that is available. Most of those #####ing here likely have never even shot any to begin with.

FWIW, Wolf .22 RF Match is highly regarded with quite a number of rimfire shooters in the US.

Approved or not I once was able to buy cheetah in Calgary, if it was never approved that explains why it dried up. I didn't realize it was not from SA, I bet Zim could use the foriegn exchange...

For the retards who have trouble with reading/ comprehension I reiterate; I don't care if you don't like wolf, many shooters would like to try it, feel free to start your own thread if you want to bash it. Most naysayers have never seen the stuff but there uncle's, friends, nieghbour's, cousin (who is JTF2) told them its no good...

This thread is to discuss whether or not wolf could be approved based on the existing approved ammo list and how we might get our mits on some.

Likely won't be Wolf. Too many fingers in the pot with them.

What do you mean by that? No one in Canada is stocking or promoting this in any kind of meaningful way. If you had sole importing rights for Canada you would have basically cornered the market on inexpensive centerfire plinking ammo. Especially for cartirdges that are hard or non-existent to find here.

That sounds like a good business decision to me.

I would be very interested in getting large quantities of non corrosive ammo at a good price. I am sure I am not the only one. Your corrosive 7.62x39 is nice but there are other calibers out there which would sell even better

Wolf, might just be the thing.

With the price of ammo going through the roof, you could be onto a good business opportunity here CanAm.

First my understanding is that another Can co is looking at Wolf. Secong Wolf is a US company. I prefer to buy direct. Otherwise you pay US excise tax, duty, markup, on top of same for Canada. Too many fingers.

CanAm, whenever you get some fairly inexpensive, non corrosive 7.62x39 in, I know that I will take a couple of cases - at least- and I am sure that just about everyone else here would too, even if it was Wolf! Keep up the good work.

That was the problem they wanted bi lingual boxes. Stickers where not acceptable.

I guess the rule makers say it's ok to have stickers on food products (I see them at the store often, especially on Asian and Middle Eastern foodstuffs which have no English or French) but not for ammo. Just another inconsistent rule that they made up I guess.
