There are a few reissued guns on the market ie the WW1 Colt 1911's ,70's and I remember reading about a comeback for the old Whitney Wolverines . I never did run across a Wolverine up here or for that matter a Radom Vis 35 reissue. What would your dream reissued gun be? Sorry to be predictable but I do miss those blued Pythons that were so plentiful not so long ago.

Someone was going to resurrect the Automag a few years ago but that project died. I think I would have shelled out for one.
I know that stainless in the classic Automag look, but the parkerized one from the article above looks bad-ass. The planned $3100 price (or $5600 for stainless) probably killed it.

gdawg you are a mind reader! That is right at the top of my wish list. Didn't mention it cause even back in the day it was a
hard to find exotic. Would love to get my hands on one. I wonder if anyone on the forums has one. I've never seen one in Canada.

Looks like someone added a round to the bottom of the magazine.
Colt used to re-issue a lot of their early guns 1851,1860,1862 etc. and even started making the 1873 SAA again after production ended just prior to WWII.
I would like to see a quality remake of the P-08 Luger with a 105.1 mm barrel...lots of ammo out there for it.

Some discontinued pistols I would like to see? I have small hands, and Like a metal frame pistol So:

From Beretta:
-92FS Compact Type M
-92FS Vertec

From Sig:
-P220 in 9MM.

Funny how this thread took almost 6 weeks to get a bit of life.
Thanks sjb200k for waking it. Well there is at least the good news that the Valtro shotguns
are back under the Brixia badge. I got one years ago and love it.
With the price of Python's nowadays I bet Colt could reissue them at a 3-4000 retail.
I know that it's a dead issue with them so they say. I've got mine locked away and use
my 686. Just don't want to put any miles on them. I think that any wheel gun from Colt would
be a home run for them. I know all about the worn machinery and tooling etc, but it would be nice.

just check the link. I thought that was totally dead. Encouraging
It seems like every year since it was first talked about (was it 2010? Maybe earlier?) VLTOR's like, "We've ironed out the wrinkles guys and we'll be in production later this year--honest!" and every year they delay again. I'm still hoping it'll come to fruition--I'll be first in line (as long as they're not crazy-high priced) to get one.

I would jump on it too - the original 10mm. It is a great calibre. Would love to see it pick up in popularity.

I search for them periodically just to see if anything pops up but I haven't seen anything. Looks like 1 or 2 sold at auction in the US in 2007/08 around the $5K range, a few showed up in Europe in the 90s and a few have made it to museums (as above). Have no idea if any are in Canada but given less than 50 were made, I'd be surprised. Like you I would absolutely love one of these but given availability I have never entertained it as a remote possibility. I'd also like to read a detailed report from someone who has actually shot one but i have not been able to find a review. Have you seen anything?

Everything I've gleaned was by Googling. There is quite a bit of info out there. As far as current sightings anywhere... nothing.

There is one more gun that I've always hoped to somehow pick up that might be a more realistic find...
The Obregon. That Mexican spin on the 1911. Had some interesting innovations re barrel lockup etc.
Lots of info online. They show up down south from time to time. Pricey. That's a reissue that I'd love to see.
Good luck finding the 30's era blueprints though. Wonder if there is one lurking around up here????
