If I understand this as it's cheaper to drive, I'd agree that it's too bad all the great prices just get right up to common prices with the expensive shipping. Looks like there's still big obstacles for online and countrywide competition for ammo sales.

Well I can send 1000 rounds of handgun ammo to a farther destination, then they can send me 220 rounds of handgun ammo.

Really? You're gonna pay some homeless guy to stand in line for you? Why don't you just buy him a meal and stand in line in the rain like the rest of us. Half the fun is talking with others suffering through the downpour and cold.

If you do that and you're in front of me you're gonna get an earful .... and a boot to the back of the line. That guy you paid is gonna be the one going into the store, not you .... you asked for my opinion and you got it.

Well then why not give him the cash and ask him to pick up garbage? Or do some chores around your house? Maybe not stand in line next to me for six hours so you can sleep in.
 
And for your info there are people who make a living in the USA doing this.And I'm sure while I'm working getting paid my boss is sleeping while I make money for him
