The hottest sale of the year and I’m on dad duty with two toddlers so mommy can attend a friend’s 40th birthday/baby shower out of town. Sigh no low cost pew pew for me.
 
Lol to all the people online complaining how they missed out on the deal they wanted. Obviously the items that is most sought after will be bought up first. But “oh, I’ve waited hours for this sale” like you mean you went online after eating dinner or maybe after watching a couple hours of tv? Or do you mean waiting out in the cold, often the night prior to be the first ones in line to get the item you wanted. What about the 50 th guy in line who missed out too. It happens. Obviously the local guys who lined up outside will be rewarded with first dips right?

Also, it tends to be the local guy’s that come in throughout the year to support their local business, not online guys that come by during an annual sale or maybe one other time during the year. Keep in mind this happens in every city where there is a brick and mortar firearms store, not just Reliable. If there’s a annual sale at a store in Edmonton, I don’t complain how I didn’t get the item I wanted. I would say yes, the local guys who lined up in the cold deserves to get the sale.

Maybe perhaps they should just keep the sale to locals only in the future. I’m sure they’d do just fine.
 
Im not surprised. But people in my situation will never have a chance to get 50% off because we don't live in a big city.
Now to say the locals are the only ones who deserve to get a deal is not very fair.
Many, many people in the shooting community live out in the sticks.
Your right we have no right to be disappointed
 
^^^i miss spoken when I said local. I meant locals who lined up the night before definitely deserves the sale compared to those who had a full nights sleep before and just hopped online. You’re welcome to come down and line up too next year if you like.

Like you are the only people to support reliable.
What about the people who buy often from them online.
And yes of course the people who lined up all night deserve first stab at it.
But your right maybe they should keep the sale only for the locals. The rest of the country doesn't matter
 
Yeah great. We’re on the same page then. You can’t please both groups with a sale like this. Not for more work than it’s worth. At the end of the day, it’s just a sale, give reliable props for at least putting one on.
 
Do you allow in store pickup for on-line orders? Do we just put a note in the "Order notes" box?
I wasn't able to make it out yesterday.
