I have an Enfield 38 cal No2 Mk1 1935. Can someone recommend a bullet, powder (amount) to reload 38 S&W brass for this revolver. Thanks

Just reloaded a bunch tonight

I use 2.8 grains of unique with a 180 grain conical cast bullet. It approximates the original military load fairly well. This is the most accurate load I have found after substantial experimentation. I shoot this load in my Enfields, Webley and S&W Victory model.

thanks

thanks for the information can you tell me the diameter of the bullet..It has been suggested to me that ir should be .359"

Always follow your manual religiously and use cast bullets. The .38 S&W uses a .354" to .360" bullet. .357" cast will be fine.
My old Lyman manual gives Bullseye for the accuracy load for a 150 grain cast bullet. 2.0 to 2.9 grains. This data will do nicely for a 148 grain bullet too.
For a 158 grain cast, 1.8 to 2.5 of Bullseye.
