I have the same melter. I cast in the garage. I open up the garage door, put on a 20" floor fan and wear a dual canister filter mask. No lead fumes in the house or my lungs.

The only downside is the smoke alam in the garage... it goes off if I flux with candle wax, makes a puff of smoke and sounds the alarm. So I disable the detector while casting.
 
Those of you who have read John Ross's book "Unintended Consequences" may remember him bragging about shooting 20,000 rounds per year. Well, compared to Win Shooter I'd say Mr. Ross is an amateur. I've seen W.S. run through three or four hundred rounds in a short session just for pure fun. Once when I wasn't around I heard he blasted off 800 rounds out of a Desert Eagle 50 AE in a few hours.

I'm just jealous because he burns more powder for fun than in one average day than most of us do in a year. Or two. Or three.:D Need good advice on a loading problem? Ask, and you'll get the straight goods from the guy who may well be the most knowlegeable shooter in Canada.
Note that I said knowledgeable NOT good. One handed with a big bore handgun he sometimes misses the 200 yard gong once or twice out of six shots.:rolleyes:

I know what you mean. Shortly after I got my .500 S&W I was at the Duncan range and watched him shoot with his .500 S&W, a standing two handed stance at a steel Ram @ 200 yds. The man can shoot.:)

Mine is 36" high which makes it comfortable when standing up. I use an ajustable drafting chair for sitting down as they adjust higher than an "office" type chair. You can also use one of those workbench stools they sell at crappy tire for $50, but they hurt your a$$ after a while.
Staples sells a nice comfy drafting chair with arms for about $175.
