hey all, trying to find some rl 19. just wondering if anyone has seen or heard of some, or might have a line on some.

I am also looking for a source to buy one pound each of Reloder 17 and 19 as and when available.

I want to work up some test loads for Swiss GP11 and rl17 is highly recommended...

Give up on Alliant, since they've gave up on Canadian reloaders!

Last time the component crunch hit it was Federal primers, this time it's Reloader powder by Alliant.

Parent company is Alliant Tech Systems...... They are a big US govt contractor, and it seems like they only care about the Govt contracts at this time.

I'm glad I left Alliant, Federal, and the RL series of powders many years ago.

At least Hodgdon, Imr, and Win are dribbling in, and can be had in bulk.

I used 19 and found it to be very temp sensitive. It is made in Switzerland, not that matters. When back to Hodgdon, happy now.

Exact same thing as Ian for me. RL19 is one of the most temp sensitive powder I ever used. Otherwise, it works great....

RL19 is my favorite for 7X57... with Magnum LR primers, I have had no issues with temperature sensitivity... I shoot year round... POI remains consistent. BUT... give up on Alliant for 2015... a sales rep told me that their powder is going to ammunition manufacturers for the foreseeable future.
