...The loads I'm looking at are 61.5grs and 62.5grs (Load 11582, Load 10438 from Reloaders Nest). Both loads call for Nosler partitions 165grs is there any dangers in switching up bullets, say to a Barnes TSX of equal weight? Would this cause a drastic pressure change?
Thanks again
Steve
RL-22 and 165gn bullets are an excellent combination in the 30-06.
There shouldn't be any trouble switching bullets of the same weight.
In my rifle you can't get enough RL-22 in the case to get you trouble with a 165gn bullet, even with a long drop tube and vibration and a very compressed load.
The result is a very accurate and safe load with velocity that you might expect from a 150gn, not a 165.
