RELOADERS SELLING .40 S&W AMMO IN VANCOUVER AREA???

The RL 1050 is probably the ultimate progressive reloader - short of full scale commercial production equipment. They are capable of in excess of 1000 rounds an hour. Is Oma Products still at the top of Hastings street - they would probably have reloaded 40 sitting in boxes on the shelf - and their stuff is excellent. Haven't lived in Vancouver for 10 years so they may be gone.

I would suggest putting a few hundred rounds of "factory" ammo through your new pistol first...It sets a good baseline to check for function and accuracy.

CombatMasters is in Alberta not exactly local. John's ammo will cost you the same or damn close or possibly even better than SGFX and you don't have to stand there and pull the handle. From what I hear Oma is toast, or in the process of being toast. And having tried out some of his ammo last year at the Mission Pumpkin shoot, I'd never shoot it again. Out of 4 boxes of ammo I think I had maybe 1/4 of it fail. This was witnessed by a large number of people at the shoot including the owner of Oma.

That's sad about Oma, I shot literally thousands of their reloads in 9mm and bought all of my supplies there in the 80's and 90's. That's how it goes I guess -you leave town and it all goes to hell (lol)
