Reloaders: your biggest regret?

Longtime reloading veterans: if you're willing to share, I am interested in your thoughts:
  1. How long have you been doing reloads?
  2. Which has been the most satisfying caliber/cartridge to reload?
  3. And what do you regret most after your many years of investing?

I’ve been rolling my own for long enough to wear out my original Lee turret press. If I were to hazard a guess based on volume, I’d say my favourites are .308Win for rifle and .38spl for handgun. And my biggest regret is not having bought 2 or 3 times the primers I did when Canada Ammo was a household name here and they were selling primers for something like $22/1000.

Been reloading for probably 11 years now

Most satisfying, well, if it works out, the new 6.5x53mmR Dutch I am attempting to reload for now. Building a round that hasn't been factory produced in almost 90 years using converted brass because new brass essentially doesn't exist should be pretty rewarding if it all works out

Regret always not buying more supplies when they were cheap, but how were we to know? Also, kinda wish I'd build my reloading bench as an "L" shape to better be able to fit a second press. But now the whole room is built around the bench as it is, so it's not important enough to worry about a rebuild
 
I think it’s about 18-ish (?) years handloading for me now. Can’t remember precisely.

Everything I’ve loaded is equally rewarding but the copper bullets saved me the greatest amount and the low velocity boutique loads are lots of fun and offer added versatility.

Greatest regret reloading is that I should have started with stick powders that offer highest velocity per grain with lower MAP instead of just those offering highest possible velocity. The difference in velocity is minimal but it’s cheaper and a bit lower recoil. And works just as well on black bear and deer.

1. Over 60% of my lifetime from birth to now.

2. Any .308 calibre from 300 subsonic to 300 magnums: from blistering speed of 110 grain bullets or in a 300 Rem Ultra Mag to subsonic 220 & 240gr in the 300 Blackout the .308 calibre has been the most fun, most satisfying and most versatile in reloading not just shooting.

3. Should have thought of reloading materials as an investment sooner. I have about 7 years ago narrowed down what powders and primers I use to a smaller variety but bought more of those types. For example, I don't use small magnum rifle primers any more, but use small rifle match primers in more calibres and thus bought more of them. If I had known this sooner I could have stocked up to have enough for life for my shooting wants and requirements for a much lower price.
 
1) Been reloading for over 20 years
2) Most Satisfying Calibre has been 6.5 mm (Have reloaded several cartridges, 6.5x47 , 6.5 Creed and PRC) One of my biggest pet peaves in reloading and firearms culture overall is shooters who mistake Calibre for Cartridge.
3) My biggest regret has been the money Ive wasted on inferior dies, powder measures and other machines for the hobby. Buy once cry once would be my biggest advice to someone entering into reloading.
 
Maybe not the regret you're thinking of, but...

I hate to admit this, I still feel sick for doing it. I had 3/4 of a jug of Reloader 15 on my bench, and a full trickler of CFE223 for the batch I was working on. When I was done I pulled the cap off the RL15 and dumped the CFE223 into it.

I cut the RL15 jug open and tried to scoop out the mixed portion but it didn't work. Lost the whole jug.
 
Stated reloading about 1980 or so. Started out with 303brit. Favorite to reload? It's more what gun am I playing with at the moment. No regrets other than not stocking up more components years ago. A 1000 primers was $50 and I'd wait till they were on sale.... cuz I was cheap...

I've only been reloading since 2018.

My most satisfying cartridge to reload is 6GT. Easy to load for, easy to shoot, and it works great with easy to find powders like varget and H4350.

My biggest regret was not throwing my wallet at a 3-way case trimmer on day one.
