If your working on a short budget, get the Lee Anniversary Reloading Kit. It has most everything you'll need except dies and a case length gauge.

who in ontario has good stock and prices on the equipment and supplies for reloading? One stop shopping?
Or do all the places kinda charge the same?? Gobbles,Epps etc....

Few weeks ago I picked up the RCBS Rock Chucker Kit, overall pretty good value, well made kit.

Definitely my #1 choice for a first reloading kit. With RCBS' industry leading customer service/warranty, the Rock Chucker Supreme Master Reloading Kit offers the best value on the marktet today & includes tools that will last you a lifetime.

LEE stuff is okay, their Classic Cast Press is good, but not in the same arena as RCBS or Redding. They are much less expensive, however, so if you're on a budget, LEE is a good choice. Higginson's Powders in Ontario seems to have the best prices on LEE Reloading gear in Canada.

All my presses are RCBS, and I've never had a problem with them, and if parts wear out, they replace them free of charge for life (and they have done so for me) There are other good makers out there, but IMHO I would stay away from a Lee Press. Yes, I know others here like them, but my brother had one that I borrowed when I was starting out, and I broke it!!! I was only reloading 45ACP and once on the down stroke, the the frigging handle broke right off..... maybe because parts of this press where made of aluminum and not steel....

If you contact Lee they will send you the replacement parts free of charge. I broke mine as well and had the parts replaced.
