I still use Remington 2-3/4 peters blue hulls i have about 100 left i use them with WW 571 powder 1-3/8 #5 lead shot for turkey or thick cover grouse hunting just shy of 1330fps

That's a stout load. Should be good for drone defense too.

577-450: That's a good hunting load. Have used that one myself(also in 1-1/4 oz loads), for turkey. As well as ducks....back in the "good old days", when lead shot was still allowed. Hard hitting and good performance.

good luck sourcing 16 ga and 410 components if you find some it's all in usa $
besides 16 ga how many boxes a year would one person shoot

Have you tried ordering them?
I haven’t purchased 16 guage wads for a couple of years but had no problem ordering them in, my biggest problem was finding powder. I shoot a 16 side by side at sporting clays a couple of times a year so I use only a couple of hundred rounds.
I stocked up on 410 wads and H110 about a year ago and had no problem finding them and chedite primers.
