reloading 20 guage shotshell?

00 buck is much too large to load in a 20ga. It won't nest together well, and the 4-5 pellets you can squeeze in will pattern like thrown rocks. I've used some #1 buck in 20 gauge, smaller would likely be better. Buckshot in a 2-3/4" 20ga. is not a humane or reliable deer killer, unless you're at spitting distance. The 2-3/4" 20 also has trouble fitting in enough steel shot, and #4 is about as big as you should go - and hold your fire beyond 30 yards on ducks. I think Ballistic Products has some data, they sell the manuals to go with their special stell shot wads.
