reloading 20 Var Targ ?

Hi, is anyone here reloading for 20 Var Targ? I am having one built this winter and would be interested in finding out what poweder and bullet combos seem to work.

My rifle likes the 32gr Blitzking in front of R-7.

I'm pretty interested in this cartridge, what is the opinion for coyotes? I think it will push a 39gr bullet at 3500?

Mine likes 32gr vmax or blitzkings with 18.2gr H4198. I've tried some 40 gr vmax with same powder charge - grouped fairly good, but I'm not sure of velocity. I'm using Lapua 222 brass that I formed into 20 VT. Fun little cartridge!

Like the .204 Ruger, it will be fine for coyotes. Stick to the bullets of stouter weight and construction and lean away from the more frangible, varminting choices. The Bergers are good.

Yes I did look at the 6mmBR site some info on there but not much. The Var Targ I am building will only be used to 100 to 300 yard bench rest paper punching as I already have a custom 204 and 223AI for various vermin. I hear the H322 and H4198 are 2 powders that some guys use. So if these two powders work shouldn't Benchmark work as well.

I see that Hirsch Precision has some Lapua 221 Fireball brass!! Wish they had this a couple of years ago..
