Not new to reloading as I have now reloaded about 1000 rounds of .204 (####ing LOVE that round). Although this is my first time reloading a Magnum cartridge and I have a few questions. Do I need to crimp the case?, I got redding dies and it didn't come with a crimper so I am thinking no?. I got 87 grain Sierra varminter rounds that are not boat tails so I have to use a deburring tool on the inside to flare out the case mouth so I can fit them in, if I end up flaring it too much can I just resize it and try again or am I screwed?. I am doing all of this for a friend since he ignored my advice to just get a .243 since he had a hard on for a magnum and got this instead. I can't believe the brass is so damned expensive though, just over two bucks each!!
. Although he is a rich rig pig so he doesn't give a ####
. No factory ammo available so I am getting him into reloading.
