Reloading .300 blackout with .223 brass

With the price of 300 BLK from Black Sheep, why bother with all that work of forming your brass (and associated headaches)? I would just buy the 300 brass and start reloading/shooting. AA 1680 is a good choice to start with as is WW 296. You'll be happy with the results and shooting a lot sooner.

I enjoyed the process and I had several 5 gallon pails of 223 brass. Spent the money I saved by not buying brass on powder and bullets.

Sounds like Black Sheep Brass is an economical source for new stuff.

Have dropped two under 100yds using 125gr SST’s over 18gr H110.
Through the boiler and removed upper half of skull on another.

Left a 1.25” exit, took out some ribs and either DRT or within 40yd sprint.
Awesome thanks. I dont have SSTs but will order some. 125TNTs have shown promise with 18g H110 for my bolt gun.

I also started watching the YT channel "Johnny's reloading bench"

This guy is a straight up scientist, leaves no stone unturned, no questions unanswered. It's become my new favorite YT channel. Lots of great content.
