I would like to know if there is a progressive reloading press that can reload hand gun calibers and rifle up to 338 Lapua mag?
I have had no luck finding anything except the Dillon 550. I would like an auto indexing, case feeder and bullet feeder for the 338, but i fear that without spending $102,000.00 I am SOL.
Someone please tell me i am wrong.

Must be nice to be able to shoot 338lm so much that you need a progressive press!

But as far as I know, there are no easily (affordable) presses that will take a 338lm

the Dillon 550 will still produce a lot of ammo in a short period of time. how many rounds are you looking to reload per session?

Aren't non-progressive presses more consistent and produce more accurate ammo? I've never heard of anyone wanting to use a progressive press for 338LM since most people who own them want the utmost accuracy; not volume.

I checked my Dillon 650 and took a empty 338 LM cartridge and loosely put a 300gr bullet on top just to check the space between the shell plate and the bottom of the dies. It is possible however I don't see a conversion kit for it. With that in mind if you're looking for speed I like the turret suggestion over the progressive. You need at least 4.5" of space from the bottom of your dies to the shell holder and at 4.5" you would still need to remove the case from the shell holder, put a bullet on top, and tilt it into the seating die at an angle for it to work properly. That alone would slow any progressive press down to the same level as a turret. The 338LM is just too long for many presses during the bullet seating process. I use a COAX press for my 338 and load slow for accuracy and consistency. Even with the COAX I need to place my unseated cartridge into the seating die at a slight angle and the COAX has one of the longer press strokes out there....

I forgot to mention that RCBS has a seating die with a port cut into it's side so you can drop a projectile onto the case without having to remove the shell from the holder. That might work well for you on a turret press. I have one of those dies but found it gave me too much run-out so I never use it.

I have a dillon 550, I was just hoping for something a little more "automated"
As for a progressive not being accurate enough, I guess that depends on what you want.
330 yard 10 shot 1.2" group is good enough for me if it only takes 60 min/ 100 rounds including prep time.

Thanks for the replies everyone
