Barnes Number 3 has loads for the 375 Weatherby...same thing for all intents and purposes....

235 gr..............82.0 to 86.0 gr( max) Imr4064.@3060 fps.

270 gr..............80.0 to 81.0 gr( max) Imr4064. @2830 fps.

300 gr..............78.0 (max) gr Imr4064 @2630 fps
300 gr ............ 85.0 gr Imr4350 to 88.0 gr (max) @ 2740 fps

350 gr...............88.0gr (max) 4831 (Not specified if Imr or Hodgdon)
2650 fps.

Ackley manual provides exact same powder and load data and velocities as .375 Weatherby ,as stated by Rembo..

My pet load....

95grs RL-22 behind a Nosler 260gr Partition....chrono'd @ 3090fps in 24" bbl.

Shoots under an inch.

I'd start a little lower then the 375 Wby, they usually have quite a bit more freebore then a 375 Improved (mine has about 3/4"), and that translates into lower pressures for a given load. - dan

Don’t I get a necro thread prize? Just looked at the date, but a #1 is always in style I guess.

I thought I just couldn’t handle the recoil and so was shooting bad groups. (No pressure signs but screaming velocity) Turns out the copper fouling was so bad it looked like rust. It is a 1990 new to me yesterday. Cleaned it up, reloaded the brass and I’ll try again with a load that should be a treat to shoot. If that works I’ll work back up to somewhere in the middle.
