Reloading 380 ACP

Anyone here use 115 gr projectiles when reloading 380 ACP?

I have. Not the best choice, but they can work. They have to be seated very deep, so you need a fast powder to have powder room. They may bulge the case and could be a problem in some chambers.

If these bullets are of conical design, they won't work. You'll need round nosed bullets, the ones that look like on 45 acp or 9x18 makarov. Regular 115 gr for 9mm Luger will not seat deep enough and your cartridge won't fit in the magazine.

Thanks for the info guys! I've been debating picking up a Browning 1911-380 but don't want to start keeping a stock of yet another bullet type. hah
