Reloading 40 S&W..titegroup powder charge?

I'm starting to reload my CZ 40 S&W
Using Titegroup powder
155 grain Truncated CMJ
Winchester brass
Win SP primers
OAL 1.135

I have read a start load of 5.4 grains of Titegroup
with 155 grain HDY XTP bullet.

Would this to a safe start for me?
This newbie is second guessing himself.

5.4 grns of Titegroup works very well in the .40 S&W for a lighter plinking charge.

yep, 5.4 would be good. I use 5.6 grains and it seems to work good too.

I load .40 with titegroup and I think the hottest Ive loaded it was 5.0gn, but Im new too and will probably up it to 5.3 soon.


4.6gn works well though, not failures.

4.8 gr. with 180's in my Edge.

Sat down tonight and reloaded 200 rounds at 5.4 grains.
The following 200 rounds I bumped up to 5.7 grains of Titegroup.
Will hit the range this week and feel them out.
