Hello, looking for an experience loading the 44RM for a Winchester 94. Got plenty of H110 but no bullets. It is my understanding that the 94's are sensitive to bullet shape and OAL.

Considering a plated bullet or store bought cast for plinking and a mono-metal bullet for hunting.

Any advice and experience is appreciated.

This is not my experience at all. I have loaded for mine for years, mostly whatever cast LSWC I could lay hands on but also at least 3 different kind of jacketed bullets, including Hornady XTP and the Speer half-jacketed SWCHP.

Good to know, thanks.

Can't go wrong with a 240gr xtp over 24gr of h110

I have a rossi '92 so not the same gun but... i get 2-3 moa out of the xtp's. Plated (regardless of load) are measured in FEET at 100 yards.
