Reloading 44 SPL and Mag using 44 russian dies?

Am I correct in thinking this should work fine, with the exception of being able to full length resize the longer spl and mag brass?

I think this should work... just looking for confirmation.

Would there be enough threads on the dies, to allow them to stick out far enough?

Full length sizing would not be a problem. The difference in case length and therefore die is in the ability to crimp bullets. You can do it with the shorter .44 Russian die, but you could not crimp .44 Russian in a .44 Magnum die. However, as pointed out by H4831, you might not have enough die engagement when screwed out to accommodate .44 Magnum cases. You would have to check.

I load 44 spl and 44 russian with Lee 44 Russian dies. There looks like there might be enough adjustment to seat bullets in a 44 mag case using this 44 russian seater die but it would be fairly close and I have never tried it.
