that is why i clean my brass before it hits the dies.
If it is scratched why would rcbs replace it?
have you lubed your brass? the old ones are not carbide and need lubricated brass. makes a huge difference in force needed to resize.
perhaps try to polish it out. the slight larger diameter likely will not be a problem for your gun.
