ok, let's get this right - the SMALL primer pocket on the 45 acp winchester brass is for THEIR version of NON-TOXIC AMMUNITION- IE IT DOESN'T HAVE LEAD STYPHENATE or whatever is the PRIMING COMPOUND of MOST PRIMERS- amd WINCHESTER IS RIGHT , IT IS NON-RELOADABLE BECAUSE THOSE NON-TOXIC PRIMERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AS COMPONENTS- when you do away with that NON-POLLUTING( GREEN) OPTION, they ARE RELOADABLE- they also use a fully encased bullet, but i should imagine you can get those if you so wished- i have changed my primer tray and feed on my press for SMALL primers to accomodate this with no problem - it is rumored that they produce a hotter flame than the large pistol- AND THE FLASH HOLES ARE THE SAME SIZE- that's the OTHER RUMOR that TRAVELS WITH THIS STUFF- i haven't run into it with winchester NT( GET IT - NON-TOXIC?) BRASS BUT THE FEDERAL has a CRIMPED IN PRIMER
