just wondering if anyone has had any experiance reloading .45 acp with a small pistol primer. I have heard many strories on if you can or cant due to the casing. I myself cant see it being a problem but I have not reloaded .45 brass with the small primer pocket.

Done it, it works!
You just have to be careful keeping your brass segregated from the LPP to SPP some of the brass has a small primer crimp either swage or ream it out.

Thanks for the feed back. thats very good to know that the 400 plus rounds of brass are going to be usable and not just collect dust.

They're handy for those that load small pistol ammo like the 9. But, for the most part i won't buy them. I first discovered them by smashing a large primer in the the bottom of the case for about five minutes until i fiqured out that the pocket was smaller. #### i was mad. Threw every one i had into the garbage.

Ya i guess if your shooting both it would be a pain to have to always seperate unless you shoot one or the other for that day.
