does anyone here reload that caliber? is it worth the hassle? i dont care about making special loads. im kinda forced to do it because of poor availability. And at $30-40 per box it aint cheap.

Also, if i shoot about $200/month worth of 9mm , is it worth it reloading that too?

thank you.

I would imagine one would save alot of money reloading the Casull saving far more than you would on the 9mm. Heavy cast bullets are prolly best for the Casull and if done right, make it formidable, so whether you buy or make the cast bullets, reloading for this cal. will save you tons.

Well it depends on how much you shoot it. If you're not already reloading it might be more hassle than it's worth if you shoot only a couple boxes a month out of it.

However if availability is the issue then get yourself a Lee kit, loading manual, some HARDCAST 250 or 300gr bullets, and some H110. If you can't find brass right away you can make some high pressure 45 colt rounds that have better performance than a 44mag.

Browse around the reloading forum for info on how to get into reloading as well. Search will only search the prior week so make sure to set it to a longer time frame.

I ONLY reload for my .454. The hornady custom ammo with the 240gr xtp's are fun, but nothing compared to some of Ben's gas checked 340gr LFN hard cast babies bein pushed by either H110 or a healthy dose of Lil gun or blue dot! Reloading is the answer.
