reloading 9 mm

The hardest part for 9mm is getting yur Lee Pro1000 to function properly
. They can be finicky with respect to primer feeding and powder charging. I assume its already set up for 9mm and not from another caliber previously? If not, u will have to change some parts in order to load 9mm. Other than that, 9mm is about as easy as it gets.
Read the press manual second. Read a reloading manual(s) first in order to understand what it is you;re doing.

It's no harder or easier than any other pistol cartridge.
I would suggest you by a reloading manual or two and read the section before the data starts. The information will include all the basics and some advanced techniques.
Some will chirp in and say you can buy 9mm ammo so cheap it's not worth reloading. They may be right but you might want to load other cartridges one day that will be far more economical to load yourself and you may as well learn on a 9mm, since you already have some gear.

I have already loaded 38 spl, 357 mag and 44 mag. The comments on the Lee 1000 are totally correct. I am afraid that my upbringing and heritage prevent me from giving up and not making this piece of s**t work. I say I am determined, my bride has other choice words for it.
Recieved some great advice from t-star on the primer feed.
I will make this work with the 9 mm, anyone have any great loads for copper jacketed bullets. I think I can get them in a 125 gr. in bulk locally.
