Reloading 9mm with a Dillon 650

I really only plan to use 9mm, maybe .40 if I ever switch to standard for IPSC. I don't shoot too much rifle so no need to have that. So do the same accessories apply for the Square B?

A conversion kit for other pistol calibers costs around $85

-reloading book
-Lyman 1200 Tumbler
-Lyman Media
-RCBS Powder Trickler
-RCBS scale pan
-Frankford Arsenal digital Scale
-Hornady Stainless Steel Calipre
-primer flipper
-3 100 round ammo boxes

They didn't have a bullet puller. What else do I need?
-small primer tube?
-9mm ammo gauge?
-case lube?
Useable's i'm picking up this week and the bench i'm building to fit the press.

If your Square Deal B dies are carbide (I'm not familiar with them), then you don't need case lube.

I'd get a pack of small primer tubes so you have 5. Pick up primers as you watch TV and store them away.

You definitely need a case gauge. The Dillon one works, but I by far prefer the DAA one found here: http://www. doublealpha.biz/reloading-gear/measuring-equipment/daa-golden-20-pocket-gauge

It really is that much faster.

You don't 'need' case lube with carbide dies and straight wall cases, but it will run easier on your arm which translates to smoother and faster. I use dillon spray lube - one or two squirts on a 1000 cases is all it takes.

Let us know where you are at in a year - I'm betting you'll be pining for a 650

I did the math on what i'm gonna save-$123 for every 1000 rounds of 9mm i reload (I have brass already) vs. $226 for cheapest factory MFS 9mm ($250 for AE), that's $103 saved or $1000 yearly so in a year my Square Deal will pay for itself.
