I love the LNL AP. The bushing system is awesome, caliber changes are fast and cheap. It's very consistent, a lot cheaper than the Dillon and they have great customer service. I know Dillon customer service is legendary but the two times (once my fault) I had to talk to Hornady, they sent me the parts free of charge with no questions asked.

The min OAL in my reloading books is 1.090" for a 124gn jacketed round nose and I belive it was 1.075" for a 124gn jacketed hollow point, and 4.1-4.4 grains of titegroup. I find 4.2 grains works about the best. Also 4.2 grains of Win 231 works pretty good.
Any data in reloading manuals is just a SUGGESTION!!
If you ever need to load your ammo shorter, start with lower powder charge and you may have to use slower powder too. It may not be easy to do as slower powder usually calls for larger powder charges. Just make sure you watch for pressure signs!!
One guy I know loads his .40s&w longer than SAAMI standard and uses 10mm mags too as his ammo wouldn't fit in .40s&w mags
Hornady is very easy and great pleasure to deal with!!! Had to call them a couple of times due to my boo-boos - they exceeded my expectations and sent me parts for free even thou I admitted the fault was mine and there was no warranty.
They sent me some de-capping pins once; and a new complete seating/crimping die another time. The dies don't come with lifetime warranty or 'we'll replace it anyway even if you are an idiot' one. Not-so funny part was, when they sent me new die first time - box came epmty with a PO stamp on it 'empty box' - dunno if someone stole the die. I contacted Hornady again and sent them the pic of the box, they sent me another new die, it came thru the second time, along with a few spare parts.
