Reloading Barnes 243 Match Burner 105 Grain Bullets - Recipes, Powders?

Savage Axis II Precision 1:9.25” twist. I have to develop a load using the Barnes bullets and would like feedback from anyone reloading with the Match Burners. OAL, distance off lands, best powder, etc. All info and feedback would be good as I have to develop a competition load with the Barnes bullets.

the matchburner is a direct copy of the hybrid, I've always had best luck with them at a 6 thou jump, I don't shoot a .243, but a 6mm is a 6mm is a 6mm right?

I tried Barnes match burners in my .308 target rifle. Worst 155 gr bullet that I have ever tried. Wouldn’t hold the bull at 300 yards, lucky to hold the 4 ring at 500 & 600. Wouldn’t hold the black at 800-1000 yards. IVI shot better than Barnes Match Burners.

Maynard, hope that isn’t the case with the 105’s. Although so time on the range needed to develop a load that hopefully will work. I’ve got 1000 rds of the 105’s so they better work…..grrrr

4350's worked good for me in 243 1/10 with the 105's that weren't VLD.
Tried others, 4831's were decent, Magpro was really good for ball, still working with it, but the 4350's were so easy just stuck with it.

I have shot the barnes match burner 112gr in my 6mm creedmoor and they shoot great, 1:7.5 twist, I have some 105 match burners also but haven't loaded them up yet, plan on trying then within a couple weeks with the same load I use behind the lapua scenar 105 gr OTM 40.5gr IMR4350, I hope they shoot great also as they are about $25 / 100 cheaper than bergers or lapua's
