So I'm starting to roll my own, I just got my first set up & I want to build a reloading bench. Did a search & I couldnt find any threads so I though I would make one cause I need some ideas. Post pics of reloading your area please, lets see what ya got

I saw this on another site & was thinking of goin all out

"ETA #2: here is the bench design I've been working on, it will be sturdier than the rock of Gibraltar, the middle section will be for gun cleaning and working on guns, the right section for pistol and shotgun pressed and the left side strictly for rifle set up, each side will have its own case prep area, and the cabinets will have locks to keep people (and future kids out) from supplies and tools, I won't be building this for probably a year or 2 but when i do it will be awesome, between the cabinets and bench is pegboard"

Ummmmm, when you build that bench....could you build a second one perchance? That absolutley NUKES the one I slapped together. Damn nice. If I may make a suggestion? I'd build one side to be at seating height. Nice to have I would think.

That's a great setup, I wish I had the space to do something like that.

One suggestion, are you going to have a chair to sit in while reloading? You might want to redesign the middle shelf on the benches in a couple areas to allow for comfortable seating. Your shins may thank you.

One thing about a low counter.......you can't raise it up. On the flip side, normal counter height can be used both standing up and sitting down......you just have to find yourself a counter height stool.
