Reloading Browning Bar 300WM

I am new to reloading a magnum calibre. I have a semi auto Browning Bar and Using a lee FL die most of my brass is a biotch to chamber after sizing. The brass is once fired from another rifle(s). I need to do something to fix this issue before I continue the reloading process.

Looking for suggestions please.

You need to buy yourself a Small Base Full Length Resizing die for .300 Winchester Magnum. I have one for exactly this reason. RCBS makes them. Semi-auto rifles don't have the camming power of a bolt action to chamber and extract brass, and ordinary FL dies don't squash the brass down to factory minimum dimensions, but a Small Base Die is designed specifically to do this.

Thanks p-17, will give it a try. Once I fire a round it should be fire formed to my specific chamber and just neck sized after that?

It is not recommended to neck size for semi autos. Full Length sizing everytime reduces chances of tight chambering or jamming rounds in repeaters.

Semis and pumps need FL sizing, and sometimes small base dies to feed properly. If you try and just neck size you will learn very quickly what frustration in the field is all about. lol
