Reloading Case Lube

It works well? You never had any issues?

Never...

I suggest warming both your liquid lanolin and isopropyl before combining.
I've had a bottle of sit for a year... It remains solute. Nothing settles out... no need to agitate before use.

I use the small dollar store spray/mist bottles to apply.

Someone I know swears by lymans quick spray case lube but he says it's no longer available. When I check lymans site they now have what they call quick slick case lube. Anyone know if it's the same stuff just with a new name?

I've got three cans of the stuff and hate it.

There've been quite a number of products I've used/tried over the years and in my opinion, at the top of or #1 on the list is Imperial Sizing Die Wax. I first started using it in case forming operations such as forming 219 Donaldson Wasp cases from 30-30 cases. A VERY little amount or application is needed, it works well and cleans off or is removed easily. A close second, or #2 is a product called Unique Case Lube by Hornady.

I'm with Johnn on this one. For rifle cases, there is nothing that quite compares to Imperial Sizing wax. A big tin lasts me eons, since you use so little.

Regards, Dave.

STP oil treatment is very similar to several case lube products on the market and it works very well at a fraction of the cost. Just apply it to your lube pad the same as any other case lube. Be careful not to get too much on the pad. Its all I've used for the last 20 years.

I've used One Shot and didn't care much for it. It was the spray bottle and not the can. It's just messy with the overspray, some cases didn't get enough lube and the darn sprayer head broke a week later. I just use plan old Hornady Unique Case Lube (basically imperial sizing wax). A little goes a LOOOOONG way! The little tub I have looks like it's hardly been used and I've done a few thousand cases from it already.

Which one? The old or the new? What do you hate about it?

I will have to check which one I have. I've had more stuck rifle cases with it than all the other lubes I've used. I now only use it sparingly on pistol cases going through my progressive press for decap and resize procedures.
