Reloading Data Books

Hey guys just wondering what are some good books to get for load data? I have the lee 2nd edition book but it seems to me like they are very conservative with their powder amounts. When comparing to online sites their numbers are way down and testing proves this theory. Any recommendations on some good material? I load 45 acp now which i seem to have made myself a good load for the time being ( until i start shooting lead to save extra cash) and will be starting to load 9mm this week. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

I have 6 or 7 books all older copys. I prefer the Hodgon book as i use a lot of their powders. my # 24 edition tends to be a little hotter. I usually use the starting load then work up to my particular fireams max then back off a grain or two. Max load is different in just about every rifle. I treat every book as a guide line only. As an example i just loaded up some 243 with 46grs. of H4831 and 100 gr. Hornadys, my Hodgon book shows 47 as max the Lee book shows 42 as max. My load has been good to me since 96 when i worked it up. There is some excellent data on line as well from tha powder makers, saves buying to many books. I simply print off the ones i want.

Lyman 49th (Lyman pistol, Lyman Cast bullet are also handy as are their Shotgun and Black Powder manuals)

Speer 14th

I found the Hornady and Nosler were not as handy as the other manuals for loading bullets other than their own, but I have them anyways. You already have the Lee and its made up of data from powder makers, not Lees own testing as most manuals use. Also you should check out Hodgdon Powders online reloading data, it should be a model for the other powder makers to use.

Sierra is also on my list as I use their bullets, Barnes is not right now but if I start using them then it will be.

I have the Hornady manual, but use the online Hodgdon and Alliant sites a lot.

i like my sierra and my speer. if u r going to load cast get the lyman cast bullet handbook....also i consult the hodgdon site very often as well as accurates website load data.

awesome thanks guys I have looked at the lyman book before but I will have probably be buying one now, as well as printing some data from online sources.
