reloading data for 6xc

Here is some load data directly from Walter Berger, sorry about the indentation.

Alex

Some load data below for the VLD bullets.

Load data was generated using Quick Load a 24 inch barrle a COAL (cartridge over all length) of 2.800 inches and your COAL and velocity could be a little different.
AS WITH ALL RELOADING APPROACH THE MAXIMUM LOADS WITH CAUTION AS ALL RIFLES AND RELOADING TECHNIQUES WILL BE DIFFERENT. If YOU CHANGE ANY OF YOUR COMPONENTS; THIS INCLUDES DIFFERENT POWDER LOT NUMBERS; YOU MUST REFIGURE YOUR LOADS BY STARTING WITH THE MINIMUM LOAD.
If we can be of any additional help feel free to contact us.
Thanks for your interest and have a great day.

Funny that none of that data mentions H4350 which is the go to powder for the 6xc. For both the 115s about 39.5gr should be pretty accurate and give you good speed around 3000fps. I shot the same load with the Berger 108bt and it shot good. Now I will try it with the new 105 hybrid and see how that goes.

Very funny indeed, there might be a good reason for this...
I suspect that Walter Berger loads are 58,000 PSI loads with a good safety margin for variations in case capacity and that with these parameters in mind, RL17 give much higher muzzle velocity than H4350 (they have the same burning rate.)

One thing that I forgot to mention:
you can used Hodgdon load data for 6mm-250!
