Hi.

I have a newbe question. Can dies from one company work on a press from another company? How about accessories like primer pocket swagger dies? Can I mix and match or am I stuck with what one company produces? Also is there a good paper patch primer out there? I'm interested in patching some cast bullets in my milsup rifles for target shooting.

Thanks.

When I first got into reloading I bought both of the LEE shellholder type's.
1 for their priming tool. The other for the reloading press's.
One of the best decision's I've ever made!:dancingbanana:

Somewhat in line with your mention of paper 'patching', a buddy that passed away not too long ago gave me a printed copy on that topic. It's an article from the Handloader 86 by Curtis L. Wilson titled Patching cast bullets with Teflon. Basically what is done is to patch/wrap the cast bullet with teflon tape available at plumbing supply stores. I did try it but found patching to be a little too time consuming for my liking.
