I've been reloading for many years, although in smaller amounts using a single stage Lee press, RCBS dies, so on and so fourth... I am now going to be reloading in LARGE quatities now that my wife is also shooting and has renewed my interest in sport shooting. I would really like to go with a Dillion press, most likely the RL550B as it will suit our purpose just fine.
I purchased my reloading equipment at our local gun shop many years ago. Back then the owner/operator had a "just give me your money" attitude and was not at all helpful when it came to experience with reloading... Unfortunately, he's become much WORSE over the years! He has a VERY strong preference to RCBS and VERY little knowledge on how to use them! He has an RCBS progressive machine which has been sitting on the shelf for as many years as I can remember, with almost a half inch of dust on it that he wants a fortune for! I honestly don't know how he made it in business (especially THIS type of business) for so long!
Anyhow, rant now over... Can someone tell me where they are purchasing their Dillon equipment from? I can't seem to find a source for it! I'm looking to purchase a new Dillon RL550B and a couple of tumblers... I'm in Merritt, B.C. and don't mind ordering from another province, if I can't find one close to me. Don't mind picking up a used machine either.
Any help or suggestion appreciated.
