Reloading equipment for 300 win mag

Hey guys

I need you precious knowledge regarding reloading match quality bullets. I do reload my own bullets for my handguns on a Hornady press but never reloaded rifle ammo except for the 45-70 govt. I'm sure I should use something else in order to make the most accurate 300 wm bullets for long range accuracy.... right ?

I would need your advice on bullets, brass, primers and dies. I want to use the best there is !!!

I intend to use heavy bullets and shoot at 1000 yards and over and if it can help you help me, I will be shooting them from a savage 110.

Redding body die for bumping the shoulders back, lee collet neck die for sizing the necks, and a forster ultra seater for bullet seating. This combination of dies should relate to very low runout.
 
I use Forster dies for my LR 300WM. My press is a standard old RCBS Rockchucker.

As for Brass I would suggest Winchester brass purchased new. LR bullets could be Berger 210s, Sierra 190s, Hornady 208s...it all depends on what your rifle likes. You might get great results with any combination of powder and primers...you just need to experiment. You may run into problems with VLDs in the Savage...I'm not sure if you can seat them out to touch the lands and still fit them in the magazine. When I built up my M70 I ended up going to a H&H-length mag box and follower which was easy to do with the M70. I don't think the mag in the Savage can be opened up to accommodate full-length magnum cases, but I could be wrong.
 
I have had great results with 210 berger vld's loaded 0.015" off the lands which still fit in the magazine of my rem 700 sendero. Been using h1000 powder but almost out now and its pretty hard to find. Hoping to get decent results with Retumbo as that's all i could get for the time being. I have read about guys having to use compressed loads to get small groups but with the coal extended hopefully it will give me the extra room in the case needed to get good results. I use winchester brass and primers to confirm big ugly guys results as well. If you haven't already check out Hodgdon's reloading data center for some good information.
