Reloading for 2 rifles in same caliber

You don’t need 2 sets of dies. The sizing die should be the same. If anything use a different shell holder to adjust for different headspace.
Seating depth will likely change. Use a micrometer style seating die with a Hornady comparator.

I mark my lock ring on the sizing die and move it between rifles.

I have had a couple of FL dies screw ups, so I keep a couple of sets of each caliber. At gunshows they are inexpensive, < $25 mostly . 270 is almost as common as 30.06 . That would allow you to set them individually . I might just do that for 6.5x55s

i run two sets of dies for my two 308's. also two separate batches of brass are assigned one to each rifle. i don't mix. sometimes i run two different brands of brass so as not to mix them up. in this case its lapua and win.

Obviously, there are different ways to address issues generated by more than one
rifle in the same chambering.
I do keep "dummy" rounds for adjustment of my seating dies
But for FL sizing, I have a FL die for each rifle, and I separate my cases for each
rifle as well.
The last time I had a case separation.....I cannot remember, but it had to be a long
time ago. I am anal about not setting shoulders back excessively. Dave.

Well, I had a range day on Saturday.

While I am also trying to trace a lite primer strike on one of the rifles, but that is in another thread, I am trying to keep this seperate.

I loaded up some nickel brass I had, and was able to run a 3 shot group in under 1/2" to settle on the load for the kimber. I did not have enough nickel brass to also run the same for the 2nd rifle, the Savage, but hoping to get some time this week to load up the same round for it and see how it does.

I have since ordered some lapua brass to use for reloading on these two, but won't get it until next week, so I won't be able to run it until later.

I am a little mixture of both. 2-308 get the same load. 3-350 rem mags get the same load. But my 2-270s, 1 with a 22” barrel likes 4350 while 24” s/s loves a hot load of 4831.
Eagleye are you still using a 350 cal or are you ready to part with some of your 35 cal Remington cor lokts?
