reloading for 45-70 Gov lever guns

Never been a fan of modern/hot 45-70 with any of the powders beginning with a "4" but I find IMR 3031 and Reloader 7 (medium and hot)and Trail Boss (trapdoor) all very sufficient for my own personal needs. Cheers .....

I’m having great success with Benchmark and 300 grain Sierra’s

18” bbl and 1825 FPS is plenty stout.
