Reloading for 9mm

Hi just obtained a 9mm berretta 92 elite 2. I am going to be reloading once i get sone brass built. Any suggestions on what powder and size of bullet is best. Type of primer as well. Thanks any suggestions would be appreciated

I use titegroup 4gr on 124gr zero rn bullet, also 4.2gr of win231 (both dirty, but meter good) & cci 500 primers.

dont reload for berretta but thats my 9mm load data.

If so...
Hit wholesale sports and grab 1000 CCI small pistol primers
Barton's has some 500rnd bags of 124 or 125 grain plated 9mm bulk bullets hidden in the store but are a bit/alot more expensive compared to Budget shooters supply
For powder they should still have VihtaVuori 3N37 or Blue Dot on the shelf.
 
I used a 4.3gr of Titegroup behind a 124gr zero, campro or Berry's bullet. Cheapest primers (Usually CCI or Federal).

I shot this in my Beretta 92A1 before I sold it. Worked good for me.
 
4 - 4.2 gr of titegroup, or 5 - 5.4 gr of Unique behind a 124 gr berry plated bullet. 124 gr bullets are nice out of the 9mm in my mind. OAL of 1.13 works well for me. Oh and order from Budget Shooter Supply, Henry is great to deal with. I use CCI 500 primers but any brand you get will work fine but stay away from the Magnum primers as they will throw the load off

I am gonna go shoot some factory ammo at the range on Sunday. Just to build up some brass surplus. I will take all replies into account
Right Now i have winchester 147 Grain FMJ that was the cheapest stuff I Could get. Is winchetser Brass any good? I have always used Federal and Remington in my rifles to build up surplus
 
bullets

picked up some 124grn plated bullets from bartons today. Bit pricey but will do to start they say they are hornaday but they are not sure. one guy told me they got them from cors? ? I should find out what they are before i start loading them.

I have burned up a couple thousand of there plated bullets, they shoot good but don't crimp em too hard as they are pretty soft... As for mfg. at best it's a guess... I will enquire with Darrel when I'm there next weekend if he is in but I just use load data for Berrys plated bullets with them.

Found some cast lead bullets this weekend at the Edmonton gun show... $55 per thousand :D .... Keep your eyes open for cheap components!
 
I will just pass this on. I was cautioned that when you are loading plated ammo that you don't overcrimp them. It can tear the plating and leave it in the barrel/chamber which can cause a jam. I have never experienced this, but, apparently it can happen. I think it depends on how thick the plating is.
The jacketed bullets I have had very good success with are BDX. If you can find them locally, they are a good value and excellent quality.

Thanks guys.it is my first shot at loading handgun ammo. For now i am using a single stage. The wufe sats i gotta wait for turret or progressive. Sone guys at wholesale
not that i take anything they say seriously thatyou just need to seat them not crimp them
I have a four dye lee set but i am goung to use my rcbs chargemaster for measuring so probably wont wont use the charge dye ir is that one important to the process

The charge die flares the case mouth slightly.... If you notice your shaving copper off the bullets then use it, if not then don't worry about it
