I dont want a $1800 rifle to Blow up ! , Most manuals are not testing with a 14.5 inch barrel so the velosity that they state in the book will be alot faster than what you will get out of a 14.5" barrel . So if I am loading at 2800fps and try to go to the published velosity I could have the gun go BOOM in the wrong way . My lyman book states 22.7 grains is @2793fps , I am at 24.1 and am around 2800 . What would happen if I tryed to chase the max Velosity of 3137fps out of a 14.5 barrel when the tested barrel length is a 24" ..........you see what I am getting atWho cares as long as it shoots?
