so with a lot of recent threads with anti tank rifle it got me thinking if someone could bring in cases(steel or brass) for guns like 14.5x114 we could have somewhat of a supply but the problem is they are berdan primed well I think I found a solution flash tubes kind of like the one used in artillery shells. it would involve drilling and tapping the shell making a flash tube for a large rifle magnum or .209 primer and the plug/firing pin that would set it off

at about 2:09 on that vid is what im talking about just down sized this is used to take a low pressure primer and adapted it to a higher pressure shell

Very much doubt you'll ever see shootable 14.5 ammo or brass imported. It's primarily an MG round. Worse Stateside. Completely illegal there.

there's plenty of casings down south and other places its not illegal in the US the ammo and rifles are destructive devices $200 tax stamp is what's needed but not for fired or even primed casing or projectiles get your facts straight bud and stop spreading misinformation. that said there plenty of wars going on a plenty of Russian 14.5's firing at the moment across the globe even some in north America(Mexico) to me that looks like plenty opportunities for a company to grab some empty casings
