Just starting to make some loads for the J.R. .Using Titegroup with 180gr Hornady J.H.P
Anybody out there loading for these Guns.Let me know what works for you.

for 175gr lead SWC and 180gr plated, I use 4.0 grs of titegroup works great in my Storm. You will find that the Nosler 135grs and the 155gr bullets (Hornady maybe) let your gun reach out nicely to 200m with a scope (I use a NC Star short cope with a BDC, significantly reduces holdover.)

Hello Colin, just got back from the range.I wanted to use Nosler's 150gr J.H.P. but couldnt find any on the shelf so I went to the Hornady's.I use a Vortex strikefire one it but after shooting it abit it surprized me really as to how good it shoots so I baught a cheap 3x9 for it to work loads and just see how good I could get it.Today was good I'd say.I got 5rnds in 1.5" ave. is 1059fps .It would have been great but I dropped one about .5" .the second is 1.25 with a ave. of 1107fps.Im going to use it for coyotes in the thick willow swales thats why I want to use a J.H.P. bullet. Thanks for the reply.
