hi guys just another question... I just started reloading for the m1 and in my manuals it says trim to legnth of 2.484" max length is 2.494", i got a lee case length guage and put it in the case trimmer, it trims the cases to 2.490" is this ok? its under the max length but not trimming to the manuals trim to length... any advice would be awsome!!!! thanks

That is fine, what you need to avoid is the cases being long enough to jam into the rifling leade and cause a pressure spike. Since your trimmer leaves them a bit long, keep a close eye on them the first few reloads to see how much they are growing after every cycle.

That's just fine.
If you want, you could modify it so it cuts another 5 thou (so you won't have to trim quite as often).
