Reloading for the 7.7jap, type99

Have any of you gunnutz have load data for this cartridge?
Any cautions etc that are common with this caliber?
I know its .311" dia.

Brass can be made from 30-06................Depending what powder you have in stock Hornady manual has data.I'll see what I can find when I get off work.........7.7 Jap was the first military rifle to have a chrome plated bore.Harold

My 2nd Edition Lee Manual lists a Max load of 44 grs H4895 with a 159 gr bullet for 2529 fps.
The fastest load (again Max) is 51 gr Accur 2700 and a 150 gr bullet for 2768 fps.

I always thought that 7.7 was the same as 303.

Edit. I looked it up and realized that the 7.7 also came in a rimless.
