reloading for the 9.3x62 using 250 grain ttsxs

Barnes data lists 250gr TSX: https://barnesbullets.com/content/barnes-loaddata/rifle/366/9-3x62mmWeb.pdf

Data might be adaptable for 250gr TTSX it's a rather long projectile for my rifle takes up significant case capacity prefer 250gr TSX.

Any concerns with the TSX/TTSX opening and killing quickly at 200 yards with 9.3x62 velocity?

Saskcop, are you using magnum primers with ball powders in this size case?

A friend speculates that the 250gr 9.3 projectiles should be designed to expand less with the higher velocities. His observations with Laupa however.

Anyone loading 9.3x62 for in a semi auto?

Yep. I have used S&B magnum primers the entire time with my load development. No pressure signs. I am using a CZ550 Lux with 23.8" barrel.

Velocity depends on distance. Will you shoot an animal at 50 yds, or 250 yds? Will your bullet work at both or do you need to think about it before you pull the trigger?

Just saying there are many variables and muzzle velocity is not the final consideration.
