so I figured I'd get into reloading... so I got together with a friend who runs a small sports buisness in town and put my order through him.... He just called to inform me that it will be a bit longer for my stuff...why?... DHL delivered it to the door of his buisness that was closed and left it there!! gun powder, primers, reloading gear.... not just my stuff but stuff he ordered for his shop. All gone! some SOB took it all. But why the DHL guy left it there in the first place with no signature is beyond me.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
so if anyone hears of some idiots blowing themselvs up let me know..

Well, that does not surprise me at all. People are more ignorant everyday. Especially up here, they don't care.

Sorry to hear that.

yeah it sucks!! hopefully DHL pay him in full soon. it just delayed my stuff by a few days. low life scum and the moron who left it there!! $25 for dangerous goods doesn't mean much I guess!!

I have mine delivered through Xpress Post, checked the tracking number five days after. Found out that allegedly, they were delivered 2 days after at 6:45 am at my house. 6:45 am? who would make a delivery at that time and confirmed it was received without knocking at the door and waking up the home owner. As of now, it is under investigation.

My package was left in the common area in a secured block....when found it was open.. the driver stated he handed it to me and when asked what I look like...a 30ish, dark haired. 6 foot male....I am 5'7", 60 years old and a full grey beard. .after a few calls to th PO and a few calls back, I was told that it is PO policy that the carriers have "open permission " to leave packages where they consider "safe" conditions. What a bunch of "cr*p"...when I queried about them telling the public of this PO decision, I was hung up on....In other words, we can expect things like this "theft" without reprisal. We pay for the signature service and yet we do not always get it. they wanted me to prove what was in the package that was insured... the fellow that sold the item to me passed away the day after shipment was sent.

Long time ago I had UPS leave a new Remington 870 between the doors at the rent controlled townhouse complex I lived in. All the doors faced inward to a common court yard and I could see the green box as soon as I pulled into the parking lot from work. I have no idea how long it was there, but thankfully it lasted until I got to it. I phoned UPS to give them a blast and they told me that drops were made "at the driver's discretion". I of course made my pooint about discretion of leaving a gun unattended, in plain site in a low income area, but the attendant said just because it said REMINGTON across the box, how was the driver supposed to know it was a gun.:jerkit: I never, ever ship with brown anymore (plus they rape you with brokerage fees on stuff from the US. 2 strikes = they're out!). Sounds like DHL is out too.

A few years back their was a news story 'bout a fellow in TO that ordered a shotgun and a .22 from Russell's. Canada Post left it on his porch and one of Toronto's finer citizens helped themselves to it!
